The Made Smarter Innovation | Digital Supply Chain Hub programme is developing tools
to support the digital transformation of manufacturing businesses.
Access Supply Chain Resilience Navigator
The Supply Chain Resilience Navigator is a digital platform designed to empower manufacturing organisations in navigating the complexities of supply chains and disruption. It serves as a comprehensive toolkit for assessing, benchmarking, and enhancing manufacturing supply chain resilience capabilities, a critical factor in ensuring business continuity and mitigating the impact of disruptions.
At its core, the Resilience Navigator is a user-friendly digital assessment tool. It guides users through a series of questions that delve into various aspects of their supply chain resilience. By evaluating organisational capabilities in areas covering preparation, disruption management and learnings from disruption, the platform provides a comprehensive overview of an organisation's strengths and weaknesses.
The assessment process is designed to be efficient and informative, taking under an hour to complete. Importantly, it allows for multi-user participation within a single organisation, enabling a collaborative approach that captures diverse perspectives. This ensures a more holistic and accurate assessment of the overall supply chain resilience.
Upon completion of the assessment, the Resilience Navigator generates a detailed report. This report presents an overall resilience score and also breaks down performance across different categories. This granular insight is invaluable in identifying specific areas that require attention and improvement. At the end of the report, a strategic action plan with targeted recommendations is provided based on resilience assessment performance. They provide a clear roadmap for enhancing resilience capabilities and fortifying the supply chain against future disruptions.
Finally, the platform facilitates benchmarking. Organisations can compare their resilience performance against industry peers, segmented by size and sector. This benchmarking feature provides valuable context and insights, allowing organisations to identify areas where they excel and where they may need to catch up.
What are the Benefits for Users?
The Resilience Navigator offers a multitude of benefits for manufacturing organisations:
