The Logistics Living Lab (L3), a flagship project part of the Made Smarter Innovation | Digital Supply Chain Hub led by Digital Catapult has been shortlisted for three awards at the Manufacturing Today 'Manufacturing Supplier Innovation Awards 2025'.

  • Most Innovative Supply Chain Optimisation Solution

The Manufacturing Supplier Innovation Awards UK 2025 recognise the most impactful solutions and suppliers driving progress in the industry. Voting is open now until Friday 28 February. Nominated companies are not allowed to vote for themselves so we ask the members of the Digital Supply Chain Hub to recognise the achievements of the project by voting for the project shortlisted categories.

The Logistics Living Lab was designed to address inefficiencies, reduce carbon emissions and empty miles, and foster stronger collaboration among various stakeholders in the logistics industry. The project case study with AF Blakemore & Son Ltd resulted in a 9% improvement in pallet utilisation efficiency, a 37% reduction in transport costs, and a notable decrease in carbon emissions.

The Logistics Living Lab consortium was led by Digital Catapult, working in collaboration with AF Blakemore & Son, Incept Consulting, Fuuse, Microsoft UK, Pairpoint, and Parity Technologies.
